Privacy Policy

Effective September 21, 2026

The short version. Your image files never leave your computer. We keep what we need to run your account (email addresses, your lab's name and members, and your subscription dates) and nothing else. We don't sell data and don't use advertising trackers.

Your images

Blotto opens your image files in your browser. They are never uploaded. When you quantify, only the region of interest you selected is sent to our server as unlabeled pixel data, without sample names, filenames or identifying metadata. It is analyzed, the numbers are sent back to your browser, and the region is not stored.

What we collect

How we use it

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Services we rely on

We use a small number of providers to run Blotto, each only for its stated purpose:

Cookies and storage

Blotto stores your sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep account and lab information while your account exists. Database backups are kept for up to 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

Changes

If we make a material change, we'll email lab owners before it takes effect.
